Our Recent Efforts

We are proud to announce that our first round of donations from Fort Lauderdale has arrived and has already been delivered to Madeira Beach. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible partners for making this possible:

  • The Wild Berry Salon
  • Big Cat Electric Bike
  • Vertical Flight
  • Ruff Rescue Transport Salt
  • SaltWater Hippie Bar
  • Jenergy Air Services
  • Our team of dedicated volunteers

Just recently, we picked up another load of donations from our drop-off location partners at Belleair Market and Suzettes on the Rocks, Drip Bar Largo, Coastal Market 607, Carlson Wildwood Florist. These much-needed supplies are being distributed to the barrier islands and inland locations throughout Northern Pinellas County. Our community’s response has been nothing short of amazing!

We also want to extend a huge thank you to Laurie Arel & La Roche-Posay Laboratories for their generous donation to the victims of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The Raising Relief Foundation will be separating and bagging these items for distribution to comfort stations on the barrier islands and mainland areas.

Media Spotlight

Thank you, ABC Action News and Spectrum Bay News 9, for once again highlighting our organization and supporting our community during this challenging time. Your coverage helps shine a light on the ongoing needs of those affected and encourages support from the wider community.

A Call for Continued Support

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to check on us. While we experienced some damage, it’s nothing that can’t be repaired or replaced. After surveying the area, it’s clear we managed to avoid the worst of the storm. However, our biggest concern now is that attention may shift away from our area to other newly affected regions. We are still grappling with devastating losses from Hurricane Helene, with many people having lost everything.
Unfortunately, there is little presence from federal agencies or national relief organizations like FEMA or the Red Cross. Our state and local government have done an incredible job, but they can only do so much. It’s the local charities, civic organizations, and everyday people who have been working non-stop.
